    Desert Medicine Seminar

  •

    The Seminar

The seminar is an experience designed to safely immerse participants in an desert environment. You will spend 6 days working with a camel expedition team to traverse a section of the Birdsville Track

You will work with the team to prepare and lead the camels through the ever changing lanscape.

The seminar aims to introduce participants to the challenges of working in a remote desert environment and introduce strategies to manage conditions and injuries that can occur. These lessons will be delivered through lectures, case studies, and hands-on safety skill sessions.

The expedition will be facilitated by experienced clinicians with a passion for desert environments and combines 12-15 hours of CPD.
