RISK MANAGEMENT
Keeping you safe
Our approach to risk management aims to be solution-focused, practical and safe. Regardless of the project our team of risk experts will guide you through the initial stages while you better understand the risk controls to manage the safety of your crew. Our risk management process is conducted in three key stages. An initial feasibility assessment and report, risk assessments with controls, and emergency response plans.
Initial Feasibility & Locations Report
Our feasibility assessment combines a detailed analysis that considers all of the critical aspects of your proposed project in order to determine the risk and the likelihood of it succeeding. This is presented in a simple report and used to determine the risk assessment and the emergency response plans.
Risk Assessment and Controls
There are four steps in managing risk which involves identifying hazards, assessing risks, controlling risks, and reviewing the control measures. Identifying and assessing risk is a major part of the overall process used to control the risks associated with your project. These risks are assigned an overall risk rating to determine the level of intervention required and the technicality of the control. Controls will be described to reduce the level (or likelihood) of the risk prior to a reassessment.
Emergency Response Plans
Our holistic approach to risk management considers and intergrates the "what if". A detailed emergeny response plan will accompany any high risk activity assocaited and identified with your project.
Health and Wellbeing Risk
Whilst industry guidelines exist to support remote film crews, we can deliver a comprehensive and detailed risk assessment plan to ensure your duty of care to all cast and crew on-location is managed appropriately in the context of your filming location (environment dependent).
We can manage specific COVID hazards to ensure you maximise the opportunity to achieve your filming or research aims.
Health Care Guidelines
The detailed project-specific risk assessments we develop will require the provision of some simple guidelines that will act as on-location control measures to ensure we reduce the risk of exposure, and/or manage potential exposures. These guidelines will likely incorporate the following templates:
- Pre-shoot heath and medical declarations
- Infection Control Guidelines – (includes health risk assessments)
- Emergency Exposure Plans (on-location)
- Use of PPE (and training if required)
