The Course
The 2024 Dive Medicine Course is an experience designed to immerse participants in an offshore diving environment whilst learning about the fundamentals of dive medicine.
Departing Cairns, you will travel to the outer reef and spend five days aboard the liveaboard vessel Reef Encounter.
The course is perfect for the clinician looking to deepen their understanding of dive medicine, whilst enjoying some of the best diving Australia has to offer.
You may participate as a certified diver or if you are new to diving, obtain your open water certification.
The course is claimable as CPD for paramedicine, nursing and medicine.
Location
One of the seven wonders of the world, the Great Barrier Reef is the largest and most diverse reef system in the world. It stretches for more than 2,800km, comprising of thousands of individuals reefs, intersected by hundreds of tropical islands.

Who can attend
The course is open to anyone interested in diving. This course maybe claimale for paramedics, medics, doctors, nurses and allied health for CPD.
